Eyvan Persian Cuisine
The Role
We are looking for an experienced cook who specializes in Persian cuisine and can work unsupervised and as part of a team in a fast-paced kitchen. The successful candidate will prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, manage kitchen operations, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
Job Details:
- Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients
- Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes and serving food at correct temperatures and adding gravies, sauces and garnishes as required
- Assure food safety and quality and maintain ingredient quality
- Ensure food standards, preparation, presentation and cooking technique are consistent
- Ensure the highest possible standard of hygiene is practiced and maintained
- Maintain a clean and safe working area, including handling utensils, equipment and dishes
- Monitor and maintain temperature of stored food/Manage food waste
Requirements
The ideal candidate will:
- Have proven experience preparing Persion cuisine.
- Have full time availability including weekends.
- Be reliable and punctual.
- Be able to follow instructions from owner/manger/
- Have the ability to work unsupervised and as part of the team in a busy kitchen.
- Have impeccable presentation and hygiene standards
- Have a working understanding of Food Safety Standards meet Health and Safety regulations
